Leading the way in eGovernment development: Conference for Government CIOs and key officials was organized in Helsinki 28-30 May 2013 by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the Government of Finland (represented by the Ministry of Finance), in collaboration with the European Commission. The conference was attended mostly by Government Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and other leading eGovernment officials – approximately 100 participants – from 45 countries in Europe and beyond.
